The all-girls Kikyo Private Academy and Chidori Public High School are polar opposites. Eita Akutsu admires the popular Makina Agatsuma from afar, as he is too introverted to speak to her in public. Alma, an autonomous self-learning robot with advanced combat capabilities, was created by two genius scientists, Enji Kamisato and Suzume Yobane, who developed Alma's artificial intelligence and robotics, respectively.
